Now, we want to start inside the parentheses with the empty set intersect M complement. And actually, we don't even need to find M complement to find this intersection. As a reminder, the elements in the intersection have to be in both of the individual sets, which means that anything in the intersection has to be in the empty set. But we know that the empty set is empty. It has no elements in it, which means that the intersection of the empty set and anything else has to also be the empty set. So, here, we know that the intersection between the empty set and M complement is the empty set, no matter what M complement is. Now that we have that intersection, we want to find the empty set, intersect and complements. Union. And Which is every element that is in the empty set intersect M complements in N or in both. Now, again, we know that this is just the empty set, so there are no elements in the empty set intersect and complement, but there are elements in N that will be in this union. Those elements are B, D, F, and H. Now, because we've gone through the elements of both of our sets, the empty set, intersect and complement, which had nothing, and N, which had B, D, F, and H, we have added in everything that will be inside of our union.
