  • Labor Force

    Sum of all employed and unemployed individuals actively seeking work within the working age population.
  • Unemployment Rate

    Percentage of the labor force unable to find work despite actively searching within a recent period.
  • Labor Force Participation Rate

    Proportion of the working age population either employed or actively seeking employment.
  • Employment to Population Ratio

    Share of the total population currently holding jobs, reflecting overall employment levels.
  • Working Age Population

    Individuals aged 16 and over, not institutionalized, considered eligible for employment.
  • Discouraged Workers

    Individuals desiring employment but not searching due to belief that no jobs are available for them.
  • Underemployment

    Situation where individuals work part-time but desire and cannot obtain full-time positions.
  • Part-Time Workers
